Description
Water production is a general area of interest across Aker BPs assets in operation and new field development projects.
Hence, water management is identified as a key value driver with several cross-discipline advantages related to e.g. reservoir energy conservation, flow assurance, subsea facility bottlenecks and topside constraints.
Based on this, Aker BP are currently performing a scouting process where the objective is to identify novel technologies for water management across our full field development, including D&W/downhole, subsea and topsides. This can for example be technology related to water down-hole water shut-of, subsea processing and water disposal, debottlenecking of topside water handling system, etc.
